About Ava
Ava was born 6/21/2016, and was just as gorgeous as a tiny puppy as she is today. She is extremely smart and ingenuitive (sometimes not to my benefit, but always to hers). Ava has a stellar work ethic and is an energizer bunny in body and in mind. Her attention span as a puppy was incredible. She shocked me at our first conformation handling class, which was planned to be a half hour. At just 5 months old, she happily continued along for a full hour and was ready for more. As long as you are paying attention to her and engaging her, she is game. She catches on to things quickly, and will try anything and do anything for a treat. Because she is extremely food motivated, training her is easy. Ava is a “work-a-holic”, but is happy to be my shadow all day, no matter what that may entail.
Ava earned her Champion title with a 5 point major on 11/25/17, she then went on to earn agility and rally titles. In her first year of agility competition, she climbed the ranks into Masters level in both Standard and Jumpers with Weaves. She has ranked number 2 for her breed and division in both Bad Dog Agility Breed Power 10, and Pug Dog Club of America agility rankings.
Ava earned her ROM – producing 3 Breed Champions (one which is also a Grand Champion) and 3 Agility Champions (one of those being dual Breed and Agility)!
Ava recently earned her Master title in rally and is almost at her her Master FAST Bronze title in agility, and just earned her overall novice Scent Work title.
